I attended Baker College and studied Early Childhood Education and Development. I have been teaching for over 20 years and still love every single minute of it! I love being outdoors, riding bikes or hanging out at the beach. What I love most about teaching at Young Explorers is building our strong classroom community.
I am continuing my education at the University of Akron by pursing a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health and School Counseling. I love working with children because of how important the little things are to them. A gentle smile, or a high five goes a long way in the eyes of a child.
I graduated from Ohio University with my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. I love weight lifting and setting new personal records for myself. What I love most about working at Young Explorers is bonding with our children. I love getting to know each and everyone of their unique selves.

I graduated from Bowling Green State University with my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. I enjoy spending free time with my kids, visiting museums, and playing board games. Young Explorers does more than just care for and educate children. We celebrate childhood and all the magic in entails!
I am currently pursing my dream and attending school to obtain my Early Childhood Education degree. I love thrift shopping and finding hidden gems at local craft stores! My favorite thing to do with young toddlers is to sing silly songs and to dance with them.
I am attending Ashland University and I am pursing my degree in Early Childhood Special Education. I also enjoy playing soccer and taking nap - just like our babies! My favorite thing about working with babies is watching them grow into their unique self.
I graduated from Bowling Green State University with my Bachelor of Science in Special Education. When I’m not in my classroom, I enjoy spending time at the Metroparks! I love a great hiking trail! My favorite thing about working with preschoolers is watching them grow and develop into little kindergarteners.
I graduated from University of Central Florida with my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. Outside of Young Explorers, I love DIY Projects! You can always find me on Pinterest searching for a new project to create. I love the wonder and magic that children experience every day.
I am continuing my education and pursing my Master’s degree at Kent State University! I consider myself a salsa connoisseur, so when I’m not teaching I’m on the hunt for some great Mexican food. I love teaching preschool at Young Explorers because every day is an adventure.
See what parents and children are saying about Young Explorers!
The teachers and the facilities are outstanding. One of the things that she loves most is playing in the gym and sliding down the large spiral slide. She learns so much and that she gets to interact with children her own age. We also almost didn’t look at Young Explorers because we assumed we couldn’t afford it, but we are so glad we decided to!
Our three year old has become such an intelligent, social child, in part, because of the influence of the staff at Young Explorers. We are confident that our children are in a safe, caring, and enjoyable environment every day, and we feel fortunate that such a wonderful center is so conveniently located for us.
I recommend Young Explorers to anyone with preschool age children in the area or anyone looking for an excellent school. Jacob likes reading, art activities, and playing with his friends in the large gym or outside on the playground. He was always independent but he has become even more so and his vocabulary has really expanded. He is very inquisitive and wants to know how everything works.
“Young Explorers has provided an amazing learning environment that is both fun and safe for my children. My son has several life-threatening food allergies, and the staff has bent over backwards to keep him safe. Their careful attention to our special needs has brought me much needed peace of mind when I’m away.”
