I have been working in Child Care programs for the last 12 years! I love to spend time with my family and grandchildren! With my time off you can find me crafting and completing up-cycling projects! I love working with our families and children. Our babies surely know how to put a smile on my face each day!
I have been working in the Early Childhood Education field for twenty years. During my time off I love to Diamond Paint and play games with my family and friends! I love teaching here because the kids always say the funniest things to put a smile on everyone’s face.

I have a school-age daughter Aubrey and preschool son Bentley. I graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in Sociology, where I also played Division 1 tennis. I have been a part of Young Explorers for over ten years. I received my International Montessori Teaching Diploma in 2013. I love being able to watch the children learn and grow.
In 2014, I graduated from Heidelberg University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. I currently live in Twinsburg with my very spoiled puppy Lucy and cat Chase. I like to spend my free time with my friends and family going on new adventures. I have a deep passion for helping children discover and learn through exploring the world around them with their peers and teachers.

See what parents and children are saying about Young Explorers!
Unlike some other day care centers, the teachers here really do “teach”; each class has a set curriculum and the children are challenged each day to learn and grow. In addition, they take pride in keeping the facility clean and organized, not to mention sanitized.
“Young Explorers has provided an amazing learning environment that is both fun and safe for my children. My son has several life-threatening food allergies, and the staff has bent over backwards to keep him safe. Their careful attention to our special needs has brought me much needed peace of mind when I’m away.”
I recommend Young Explorers to anyone with preschool age children in the area or anyone looking for an excellent school. Jacob likes reading, art activities, and playing with his friends in the large gym or outside on the playground. He was always independent but he has become even more so and his vocabulary has really expanded. He is very inquisitive and wants to know how everything works.
First of all the facility and curriculum is top notch. The facility was very well designed and decorated. It is bright, cheery, and clean. My two-year old especially loves music class and is always singing new songs at home. Both my boys learned so much at an early age. Before they even start preschool they know their shapes, colors, alphabet, counting (Spanish and English). I’m very impressed by what the teachers are able to do!
